On 07 September 2002, during the World Record Festival in Dessau, Germany, Jan van Koningsveld of Germany was the first to ever pass one of the most difficult tests ever, THE ULTIMATE TEST OF PI .

His attempt was for the first 1,000 decimal places and he answered all of the 30 questions correctly.
He needed 51 minutes and 40 seconds.
